Multiple devices? You get a discounted rate for each additional device tested at the same location, on the same visit. Ask about multi-device pricing.

 

What's Included:

• Full Annual Test — Complete test by a certified tester with calibrated gauges.

• City Submission — We file the test report with your municipality on your behalf.

• All Fees Included — The price you see is the price you pay. Nothing extra.

 

Common Questions:

 

What if my device fails the test?

If it can be repaired, we'll quote the repair separately before doing any work — nothing happens without your approval. Most common failures can be fixed on the spot.

 

What about larger devices or fire systems?

We test and certify devices of all sizes, including ones we didn't install. (We don't install fire-system devices or devices over 2" — but we're happy to test them after someone else puts them in.)

 

How long does a test take?

Most tests take 20–40 minutes per device. If a repair is needed, plan for a little longer.

 

Are there any extra fees?

Our rate covers the test and filing the report. Some municipalities charge their own administration fee on top (for example, Halton Region) — if that applies to you, we'll let you know upfront.
